Extra-curricular Enrichment Kung Fu
Dragon Kung Fu is committed to providing fun-filled enrichment programs that promote early education development and lay a strong foundation for health, wellness, and self-confidence. Our mission is to empower young children to excel physically, mentally, and emotionally via fun-filled Kung Fu activities that strengthen the mind, body, and spirit.
Our early childhood Kung Fu program enhances early childhood education by reinforcing the development of the following six critical skills: sensory, language, gross-motor, fine-motor, cognitive, and social-emotional. The program accommodates children from ages 2 to 6 years. Each day of training is an adventure inward, teaching inner balance, confidence, respect, mindfulness, and focus.
Our thematic instruction integrates animal defense styles of the Monkey, Panda, Tiger, and Phoenix with make-believe play and story-based drama. Children learn to vividly listen, imagine, and follow directions. Dragon Kung Fu encourages both short-term and long-term goals that lay a strong foundation for health, wellness, and self-confidence. We award animal badges and promote attainment of the DRAGON WARRIOR rank.
Classes are available in English, Spanish, or our innovative, dual-language approach.
